"3 Maples Waitsburg Cottage – 5 Star Plus!"
We will return! The stay at the Cottage surpassed the description on the web site, which is unusual. Karen’s attention to detail made for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
Everything feels new and fresh, Cottage immaculate and clean.Sitting on the patio with the beautiful expanse of lawn, lilacs, and maple trees was a treat. The turtledoves serenaded.Karen and Paul are wonderful inn-keepers (cottage keepers) ready to share their information on the area. The town of Waitsburg is lovely and the residents are very friendly and welcoming.
Am recommending 3 Maples to all of my friends and family!

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Three Maples cottage and had a wonderful time. The property is very well maintained and is decorated in a fresh manner with a lot of natural light. Every convenience has been thought of by the owner, Karen, who is very willing to insure you have a pleasant stay. Waitsburg is a short drive from all the wine tasting rooms in Walla Walla and the drive itself is spectacular with all different hills and big billowy clouds. I would definitely recommend and hope to return.

We were so happy with our first Three Maples stay we invited some friends to join us this year. I was a bit concerned that we had talked so much about our first trip that we had fostered expectations that were impossible to reach. You know how you eat the best meal ever while backpacking, but when you make it at home it's awful. I didn't need to worry. This year was even better than last. The attention to detail was still outstanding, and our hosts help us choose and make reservations for dinners and tastings, all incredible. Izzy still liked carrots, and our friends couldn't thank us enough for turning them on to Karen and Paul's getaway. We will be back!

"My Kind of Town"
Our second go around at the Three Maples. A quintessential cottage: full of old world charm (lovely art and a footed tub) and modern day conveniences (fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals). Huge yard to sit in and sip wine or your morning coffee... and throw something on the BBQ for dinner. Karen is the consummate host attending to every detail. Enjoyed walking along the main street of Waitsburg. A must see is the original hardware store -- walk in and visit the rescued cats in the back. Certainly makes one pine for the good ol' days.

Spent three days and two nights in historic Waitsburg (who knew) at the Three Maples Cottage. The accommodations exceeded expectations. Attention to detail was extraordinary. The kitchen and pantry were stocked with fruit, wine and carrots (for Izzy the camel), and there were plenty of kitchen tools to please a demanding creative cook. The hosts, Karen and Paul, were a wealth of information on local fare and vinifera, as well as being generous and gracious hosts. We had a great time! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed this well appointed home. Clean, comfortable and not lacking the amenities of home. Carrots in the refrigerator for feeding Izzy which was a fun experience. Izzy is smart and knows when you are sneaking off without giving him/her all the carrots in the bag. Thank you Karen for your attention to detail...one of our favorite places to stay on our month-long road trip.
