We discovered Waitsburg in 2005 and love sharing this gem of a small American town with our guests...
There's much to be said about this wonderful little place, one part Mayberry, one part Northern Exposure, for the media lovers amongst us. But above all, we enjoy the peace, the quiet, the small town friendliness, the fresh air, the natural sounds of birds and children playing, the brilliant night sky full of stars. We love the warm evenings, the soft breezes, the terrific local produce and farm-raised meats and cheeses. We walk the three blocks to downtown where we meet friends, neighbors, visiting artists and chefs and winemakers, people from all walks of life and all parts of the globe. We simply love the relaxation that Waitsburg affords, all the while being quite close to vineyards, wineries, Whitman college, and all the amenities of the 'big' city of Walla Walla which is just a 20 minute drive away on a beautiful country road.
